Introduction

The Commission has initiated a number of pilot projects aimed at informing future implementation of Universal Access (UA) projects on a nationwide scale. The UA projects in Kenya include:

• School-based ICT Centres
• Community ICT Access Points
• ICTs for People with Disabilities
• Digitisation of Secondary School Curriculum
• Computerisation of Health Centres
• Research and Development
