The Kenya Communications (Amendment) Act of 2009 mandates the Commission to facilitate the implementation of a sound electronic transactions (e-transactions) framework. In this regard, the Commission will oversee the implementation of the national e-transactions framework through Certification Services Providers (CPSs).
